Microsoft vs. Apple: no trademark registration in App Store

The term 'too general and is' widely used in a sense more' wide

Washington - Microsoft has used the U.S. Office of Patents and Trademarks to prevent Apple to register the mark "App Store", inhibiting, therefore, the use to other companies. Apple had filed for registration in the course of 2008, referred to as the App Store a "set of goods and services, including a store for selling software.

According to Microsoft the term is too generic to allow use in a single player and emphasizes how users around the world refer to the App Store when they want to talk about services on which you can purchase online applications and quotes verbatim a statement by the same CEO Apple's Steve Jobs, who during a public interview he referred to the App Store for Android open from Amazon, Verizon and Vodafone.
The demand for Apple is currently suspended.
