The 3D stereoscopic technology will not be implemented on future Wii 2 will be produced by Nintendo.
Reggie Fils-Aime, president of the American division of the Japanese, in an interview on CNN has declared that the new version of the console does not incorporate this feature. In fact, as suggested by Fils-Aime, Nintendo believes that traditional 3D steroscopico can not have a future on consoles but feels that if anything should aim at a 3D does not require the use of special glasses (such as the Nintendo 3DS). No detail has been leaked on the release date instead of the Wii 2 or progress on the development of the new console.
