Tablet PCs sold in 2011: Motorola Xoom disappointing so far

According to estimates by Deutsche Bank, has just 100,000 units sold to Motorola Xoom after one month from the market debut of the Android-based tablet.

Motorola Xoom was announced from the outset as one of the most popular type devices slate, able to meet the challenge from Apple first and now with iPad iPad 2. The commercial debut of the tablet signed and equipped with Motorola Android 3.0 Honeycomb, however, seems to have been anything but positive.
Motorola Xoom

According to estimates provided by Deutsche Bank, has just 100,000 units of Motorola Xoom placed on the market. Inevitable comparisons with iPad 2: 300,000 tablets of the second generation Apple sold the first day of the heir of marketing iPad. We note that the estimates produced by Deutsche Bank moved from the traffic generated on Android.

Motorola Xoom has a hardware equipment of all respect. A slow sales of the tablets appear to be other factors, including the very competitive price policy practiced by the U.S. and the gap between the number of apps optimized for the tablets available on Android Market and the proposed application on the App Store for iPad iPad and 2.
