DICE : "Competition is lazy, with Battlefield 3 will make a huge leap forward"

The development team DICE directly back to attack the opponents after the challenge, saying that other software companies struggled to compete with the new Frostbite engine 2, the boss Karl-Magnus Trodesson from the pages of OPM said that the whole competition is becoming increasingly lazy, using tones rather bold:

"Our competitors are becoming lazy. They are using the same engine, the same recipe for every game. There comes a point where you need to make a leap forward. Have not seen them do such a thing a long time. We are doing right now. They'd better be careful, because we're coming to take them "

Clearly the reference is to the binomial Infinity Ward / Treyarch, which for years has developed the Call of Duty with the same basic engine. And recentemetne, the same Activision has announced that the next Modern Warfare is not expected to have a new engine.

Battlefield 3 with his second Frostbite is expected to release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this autumn.
